Chuck Klosterman is an author of numerous books such as Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs, Downtown Owl and Killing Yourself to Live. His most recent book, The Nineties, is a collection of essays about a decade that occurred not too long ago, yet in many ways feels like an entirely different world. In this episode, Chuck sits down with Aron to discuss his book and a variety of other topics, including:

-What it's like to write a book about a decade that you've lived through

-The internet preserving history

-How Art Bell's Coast to Coast AM radio show foreshadowed the current state of mainstream media

-How athletes from the past would fair in today's game and vice versa

-The impact that the O.J. Simpson trial had on his legacy as a player and on the NFL's image.

-Did the BCS eliminate the mystique around college football

-Does American Football really need to expand beyond the United States

-The essence of football

-And much more
