The time has come for the boys at TFR to discuss the being that needs no introduction... the one and only, Gef, the talking mongoose! During the early to mid-1930's, an event would take place on the Isle of Man that could only be described as a child's, crazy imagination come to life. Gef, or the "Dalby Spook", as it is otherwise known as, was a ghost/cryptid/faerie/thing... that inhabited the farmstead of the Irving family and caused much mischief, trouble, and damage to them and their household. It wouldn't take long before newspapers and investigators would learn about this supernatural creature and want their piece of the paranormal pie.
In part 1 of this series we will discuss the upbringing of the Irving family, many of Gef's appearances and antics, and conclude with the first of many investigations into the identity of this rowdy specter. Have yourself a listen!
