Dr. Krystale Littlejohn discusses her book "Just Get on the Pill: The Uneven Burden of Reproductive Politics," which argues that the burden placed on people who give birth is unequal, and that they are held accountable for preventing and resolving pregnancies in gender-constrained ways. We discuss how this is a reproductive justice issue, and that balancing the responsibility for pregnancy prevention would ease the emotional and domestic labor often placed primarily on women, and people who give birth.
