Randy Williams, who prefers to be called the Seef, is one of the most well-known Wing Chun martial artists today. He began his training on the art under his first Shifu, George Yau Chu at the age of 13 in Los Angeles California. He opened his own school in 1972, a school that would eventually grow to become the well-known Close Range Combat Academy which spanned the globe and was established in 15 countries. Randy Williams went on to publish nine books on the art of Wing Chun as well as produce over 50 instructional videos on numerous aspects of the art. He has been featured multiple times on the covers of Inside Kung Fu and other martial arts magazines. Randy Williams also studied under numerous other highly regarded teachers, including learning Jeet Kune Do under Ted Wong who was one of Bruce Lee's top students.
