Have you ever been asked this question? It's a common exercise in which you are supposed to find out what you want to in life for a career. By taking the money out of the situation, you are forced to choose a vocation that is one that you love.
In the movie Office Space, a character named Michael Bolton says the question is bullshit because if everyone were supposed to do what they love for a living, there wouldn't be any janitors. He has a point, but the question is not bullshit.
