Amy Gilliland started a program called “How are you, really?” to address the mental health issues of the employees at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). Emily Rosado-Solomon, an Assistant Professor at Babson College, conducts research on mental health and examines the best practices surrounding employers supporting employees’ mental health. Rosado-Solomon claims changing the workplace culture and ending the stigma is critical to improving mental health. Rosado-Solomon provides clear and tangible ways that organizations can prioritize mental health.
