14. The Disordered Mind
Manage episode 393415661 series 3546142
This episode was recorded on July 8th, 2023. In this episode, I share a story of some recent adversity I faced personally. Part of this lends to the ongoing process of how challenging it can be to summon our resilient nature when we’re faced with unexpected changes and curveballs, which can render us at the mercy of nature to the point where we may feel hopeless and frozen. My personal account of this exemplifies how I applied my teaches as a certified HeartMath Trainer. I relied on my heart's wisdom to feel okay with the decisions I made to resolve the problems at hand.
In the process of trusting my heart, I realized that a common denominator of the disordered mind and feeling victimized by our circumstances results from a disconnect of our heads to our hearts. Getting in touch with our hearts is probably the most effective means of recalibrating our consciousness with our deepest intentions.
I hope you enjoy this episode and the reading from my book.
