Manage episode 238622077 series 2513341
Ursula K. Le Guin is one of science fiction’s most influential writers. Her science fiction philosophy, which underscores our entire SciFi-preneurship podcast series, is that science fiction is meant to be descriptive rather than predictive. A hallmark of her writing is that it tends to be more inclusive of different gender and sexual identity expressions than many of her contemporaries' work, allowing for a broader representation of characters with whom readers can identify.
