During her studies to become a part-time waitress, I heard she is about to fly out to Italy for three months to work as a model. I instantly thought 'why the hell would you continue to study to be a waitress'. She finished the course - which I probably would not have if I heard I am working internationally as a model; plus; waiters are not treated all that well in SA - and showed a resilience, desire and humility during the training. These hardworking qualities are rare not only in humans but especially younger people. When hearing she used to do MMA - mixed martial arts - I really got curious to see who the person is behind the 'plain / rebel' looking image.
