Ole Miss last week landed Houston cornerback Isaiah Hamilton.

Hamilton replaces Michigan’s Amorion Walker. Walker transferred in during the winter and went through spring practices. However, he’s since transferred back to Michigan.

Walker was more potential than proven production. Hamilton, meanwhile, is a plug-and-play piece for the Rebels opposite Tre Amos. Amos transferred to Ole Miss from Alabama.

Hamilton has an 86.9 PFF Grade since 2021. He’s also compiled 12 interceptions, 18 pass break-ups, a 70.2 passer rating allowed and a 90.8 coverage grade over that span.

More specifically, he addresses the final need for Ole Miss, which will remain active in the portal. Lane Kiffin and Co. are still offering wide receivers despite the returns of Tre Harris and Jordan Watkins and transfers of Juice Wells, Deion Smith and Marquis Willis.

Actually, with Hamilton, the Rebels have one of college football’s most enviable rosters, as Zach Berry and Ben Garrett of the Ole Miss Spirit explain in this edition of ‘The Flagship,’ powered by College Corner.
