In this episode, Andrew speaks to the founder, former Dean, and current Professor at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), Professor Nick Binedell. After an initial career in the Mining and Manufacturing sectors, Nick has focused his work, for the past 20+ years, in the area of business education. GIBS has a strong focus on partnering with leading South African corporates and providing a high level of local and international business education.

Join them as they delve into his passion for business education, how the organisations he’s involved in are working towards addressing challenges faced by the education sector in Africa, and the changes to the education landscape in South Africa following COVID-19. Nick also shares his views on the role of the government and the public sector in facilitating business and delivering value moving forward, as well as a positive outlook for South Africa moving forward and the sectors he sees as most promising in the short and long term.
