Today’s guest is someone who used to be an entrepreneur and who now operates at the other end of the spectrum. Meet Nupur Hemant, the woman behind the funding of at least a dozen start-ups such as Giva, Karmalife, Koo, Tamasha and Magma. Nupur has been an early stage investor for the past 10 years and presently leads an early stage practice for a VC in India. Her focus is on investing in blockchain, Consumer tech, education, B2B SaaS and Financial technologies in India & South-East Asia. Nupur started her career as a software engineer and went on to found an e-commerce company in 2013, Angel invested in a dozen of startups, founded a VC fund in India, served on the board and registered SEBI fund manager with multiple prestigious funds across India and Singapore. She’s a UCLA graduate and has been associated with institutions such as the IIT and IIM as judge and guest speaker.
