Maisha Aza MSW, CMT (she/they), founder of Black Girl Tantra, LLC is a fat, black, queer Tantric Shaman, and Intuitive. Maisha holds the door open and the mirror up for black indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) who have been marginalized and unaccepted within their own communities, families, and society. They help people access their sexual power for healing psycho-sexual and spiritual wounds as a result of interpersonal, cultural, religious and ancestral trauma. Centering women, queer, trans and non-binary folx in her work, Maisha helps people grow their self-intimacy, self-trust, and body autonomy through erotic consent practices. Maisha's unique, sensual blending of shamanic medicine, tantric medicine, and erotic embodiment practices are key tools that they use to help transform pain, blame and shame into healing. Their tantric shaman practices are concrete tools for consciously thriving above and beyond social stigmas, taboos and gender binaries. Black Girl Tantra is a prominent leader in the movement to create a culture of consent by healing through the power of pleasure!
