Everyone wants to talk about SUCCESS, but let's normalize FAILURE first!
Manage episode 428136798 series 3578256
This solo episode comes from the heart from someone who lived most of her life comparing everything about her body, mind, spirit, soul, dreams, future, present, and past to those around her. I listened to critique from family, friends, and the world around me to determine what success should look like, assuming that perfectionism was how I had to create success, and that failure was the end of the journey; assuming that no one else had a hard time or obstacles in their path to get where they are today. So I hope you leave this episode with new thoughts about failure, the journey to success, and that you have hope knowing that failure is part of the process. So, pick yourself up and keep moving forward, hire coaches and mentors to help you along the way, and ONLY "Seek counsel, not opinion" ~Amberly Lago, from those who you would want to trade lives with, those who are successful and you want to go where they have been. I heard David Ray say once that the only people who judge you are the people who aren't going where you're going because those who have been there are cheering you on along the way! Connect with me:
