What’s Up Young Authors! Join your Host, Amelie Anastasia, Young Author of the Fox Tales series, as she interviews Young Author and Illustrator Gunner J Duck! Gunner, a ten-year-old author, shares his experience of writing and illustrating his Ninja Puppy series, which he started at the age of five. Gunner drew inspiration from his family and his puppy, and created the world of Ninja Puppy. Six books later, publishing a book a year, Gunner is now publishing a new version of his first book in the Ninja Puppy series. Gunner discusses the process of writing and illustrating his book series, and how it inspired his family to start a publishing company, create cool Ninja Puppy merchandise, and promote his books online and with school visits! Gunner plans to continue writing for many years to come.
