On this episode of the Black Baseball Mixtape podcast, I visit with LaTroy Hawkins. Hawk is a media analyst and Special Assistant for Baseball Ops for the Minnesota Twins. He also co-hosts the Thick Skin Podcast with his former teammate, Jauque Jones.
Hawk has indeed seen a lot in the game. He played for over two decades (21 seasons with 11 teams) and has also coached at a very high level. He is the perfect person to discuss the state of Black baseball. We talk about his podcast and his journey in baseball, and we also manage to have a little fun along the way.
