In my conversation with Mr. DeShaan Dixon at the beginning of his second NFL season, we delved into his remarkable journey.
From his unexpected journey into college football after receiving an offer from Norfolk State University to playing five years of ball, including during the COVID year, Dixon's resilience shines through. Entering his senior year with no concrete plan, football remained his guiding light.
Dixon candidly shared his experience navigating the undrafted process with the Jacksonville Jaguars, maintaining a relentless work ethic despite facing stiff competition. His determination earned him a spot on the 53-man roster.
Family, particularly his daughter, along with the unwavering support of coaches and loved ones, serve as Dixon's ultimate motivation. He takes pride in providing for his family and remains deeply committed to his community.
