Do you remember Episode 16 from our very first season when we talked about the Avian Influenza? This week, join Dr. Omar Khan as he discusses updates on the Avian Influenza with Dr. Shayan Sharif! Dr. Sharif earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tehran, and a PhD from the Ontario Veterinary College. Alongside his role as the Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Sharif is also the University of Guelph's new interim associate vice-president research. In this role, he oversees the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance, one of the largest single research agreements at the University.
