we are… like so so lucky to have the,,, wonderful & awe-inspiring dr. cathryn nagler on the show this week to learn more about her, her entrance into the world of biotech, & discuss her work at her academic start-up company ClostraBio, the microbiome, food allergies & more! dr. nagler graduated w/ honors from Barnard College at Columbia University. she earned her Ph.D from NYU Grossman School of Medicine and did a postdoctoral fellowship @ mit! wow!!! after, she was associate professor of pediatrics @ Harvard Medical School before she joined the University of Chicago in 2009!!! she currently holds both national and international leadership roles related to publication & teaching for a bunch of places, such as the American Association of Immunologists, the Society for Mucosal Immunology & the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies! also,,, she was listed among Crain’s Chicago Business Tech Top 50 Women in 2018 and Notable Women in HealthCare in 2019 for her work at ClostraBio & was elected as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Association of Immunologists (AAI) in 2020.
