I am joined by a phenomenal Congolese poet and creative who is rewriting the narrative of African masculinity through his trailblazing poetic pieces. By commenting on the dreaded issues of trauma, fragile and toxic masculinity and gender-based violence, he goes on to be a role model and example for the progressive men of the equal future we desire! In this episode we tackle toxic masculinity and the root cause of common toxic behaviours exhibited in men, address the double standards that exist amongst the sexes and even the inadequacies that we need to deal with in order to truly understand one another.
