Often in the gospels, whether they realize it or not, people come to Jesus in deep need. Jesus gets to the heart of things, and offers what they need most, and he does the same with us. Our series for the semester is Encountering Jesus, a look at how Jesus addresses our deepest needs.
Do we come to the Temple for God, or for what we can get from God? This week, we look at Jesus cleansing the Temple. We consider how Jesus can drive out our impurities, making us truly authentic and clean.
