Denna gång är episoden till större delen på engelska, därför är även dessa episodnotiser även till större delen på engelska.

In this episode of RotaryRadio.se, number 5, there’s a lot of spoken english.
This of course due to the fact that the Interviewee is Hugo Pike from Midsomer Norton, England.
He is one of the people that started the project with Water Survival Boxes (WSB) in the Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge.

This interview was conducted in september at the House of Friendship* during the 2012 Zone Institute** for zone 15 & 16 in Sundsvall, Sweden.

The project started after the Tsunami on Christmas Day 2004 in South East Asia and has helped an almost uncountable number of people with the need of pure water.

A rather small plastic box, no larger than an ordinary storage box in peoples garage provides clean, drinkable water for a family of four during a whole year, and each family member gets to drink two liters of water every day during this year!

Close to 10 000 WSB’s has been shipped out to the needy – that’s recalculated into a staggering 28 443 720 (28.4 millions!) liters of water produced during one year!

The cost of a survival box is £150 (inclusive of airfreight costs), if you’d like to donate or make local fundraiser, or just learn more you can read all about WSB at their website www.worldwaterworks.org

Also, they have a downloadable flyer available.
