Ellen Bailey is the VP of Diversity and Culture at Harvard Business Publishing (HBP), a not-for-profit, wholly-owned subsidiary of Harvard University on a mission to improve the practice of management in a changing world. Ellen creates and executes the diversity and inclusion strategy, vision, and goals for the organization. She drives employee engagement and business results by serving as a catalyst to deliver the best practices and resources, promoting a culture of inclusion. Before HBP, she served as a Solution Architect and a Custom Program Manager for AchieveGlobal.

This was the case until the murder of George Floyd, which became an eye-opening moment for many organizations. Being the only black woman on her leadership team, Ellen Bailey saw an opportunity from this incident to bring out her voice. She was able to create a strategy, vision, and goals for diversity and belonging in her organization. Now she shares what she has learned to help people implement those same changes.
