Suppose you had taken out a restraining order against your former partner, because they beat and threatened you and menaced you with their gun. Then the judge tells you, this restraining order will protect you and your family from a confrontation with this person, but you cannot restrict them from carrying a gun. Enter Zackey Rahimi, who claims he has such a right even though he’s used a gun intentionally and recklessly many times. United States vs Rahimi is the next Second Amendment case that SCOTUS will hear.
