Grandpa Dan discusses the inevitability of time marching on. If time were money, the years you have would be akin to a savings account that you are unable to make a deposit into. Each day you spend from the account and thus, each day the amount is depleted. When the balance is large, you don’t notice this so much. However when the balance nears depletion, you can’t help but become keenly aware that you’re running out.

In the Christian specific segment this week, GPD discusses Esau selling his birthright for a bowl of pottage. Believe it or not, this story is relevant to all of us today.
