Pizzo has earned Street Credibility coming up as a lyricist in Jtown’s rap scene. He works and lives in Lagos, where he recently dropped a mixtape titled “Trapped in the Hustle LP” under Dreams Come True (DCT) Records. It was a sunny, yet cold afternoon in Jos. Also, it was January 8th, Ice Prince’s celebrity packed concert #Josrocks took place. It was a vibrant hang out with Pizzo and his crew in our studio. We discussed coming up in Jos as a musician/rapper, an upcoming mixtape he hosted “Farmhouse Memoirs” which features a ton of other Jtown Rappers, his cooking skills, artistic motivation and more. He also dropped a freestyle with impeccable style. We quickly realized that his reputation for intelligent flows indeed preceded him.
