Manage episode 437170675 series 3462666
Whoop, whoop! Here is the 18th episode of Plugged In, the Guidehouse Insights Podcast where we go deep into emerging sustainability topics and how they might be all around you!
This new episode, we have on Jason Pandich, a Senior Research Analyst on Insights’ Transportation team, where his specialty is electric vehicles and, more specifically, EV charging. He studied Political Science, Government, Economics, History, and International Relations across his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees! From there, he worked at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation on implementing New York’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. Most importantly, Jason takes the time to smell the roses and count charging hubs along his driving routes in his free time.
Jason talks us and listeners through the basics and not so basics of EV charging. What kinds of chargers are out there, how expensive are they, where are we seeing them, and what is deterring them from being at our local gas stations? More than that, though… what is keeping people from truly transitioning to EVs and swapping their normal cars? To understand more about creating a decarbonized transportation ecosystem, listen to Jason in this episode.
