Digital Forensics was unheard of in the early 1990s. Its breakthrough has led to various crime-solving practices that most law enforcement agencies worldwide utilize nowadays.

Agents from the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center based in Maryland, USA, were the ones who helped solve the case and opened the gates for solving crimes through digital means.
