If you like crime dramas and you like stories set in Maine, our guest today has written the perfect book for you. It’s called The Damage, and it’s written by Caitlin Wahrer. Caitlin lives in Southern Maine, she’s a former lawyer, an author, and also a friend. The Damage is her first novel and it’s published by Penguin Random House. It’s available at all major booksellers, as well as our local bookshops including Print, which is where I ordered my copy.
In this conversation, Caitlin and I talk about the novel itself, stepping away from law practice, and what she had to learn and go through to land a book deal.
