ITV’s Chris Ship says Charles isn’t the one in charge at Buckingham Palace. Shop tells Talking Royals, "Someone very close to the King and Queen said to me recently it is her who says no, she is the one, when the courtiers come in, he will insist ‘Of course I can do that, I am a workaholic’.

Royal biographer Robert Jobson adds: “Queen Camilla had initially been against disclosing his condition, but the King overruled her as he felt it was a chance to take a lead and in doing so to encourage men experiencing similar symptoms to seek timely medical attention.
