Welcome to the second installment of the Holy Ghost series! In this message, "Who is the Holy Spirit?", we dive into the identity, nature, and role of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

1. He is God: From the very beginning, the Spirit of God was present, hovering over the waters (Genesis 1:1-2). The Holy Spirit is an integral part of the Trinity, fully God, and actively involved in creation and our lives.
2. He is the Holy Spirit: The term 'Holy' emphasizes His divine purity and separation from sin, while 'Spirit' signifies His presence and activity.
3. He is a Person, not an “it”: The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force but a personal being who guides, comforts, and empowers us (John 14:17).
When we are filled with the Spirit:
* We become God's dwelling place: The Holy Spirit resides permanently within us, transforming us into the temple of God (John 14:17-19, 1 Corinthians 6:19).
* We can experience total victory: Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are assured of victory in life because He who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us (Romans 8:11, 1 John 4:4).
* We can function like Jesus: Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can continue the works of Jesus and even greater things (John 14:12, Acts 10:38).
