Our first politician on the show, who is also a practicing doctor, with a Master's degree in film, television and media writing, Dr. Sapna Samant is an exemplary leader who is equal parts dreamer and doer.
She joins us to talk about her work as a Greens Party candidate in New Zealand, why she decided to join active politics, the changing diaspora experience, and the dangers of a single majoritarian narrative.
