In this episode, I speak with my mentor Mr. Saif ul Malook about blasphemy in Pakistan. Mr. Malook is the lawyer involved in Pakistan's most high-profile and dangerous blasphemy cases. His achievements include the successful prosecution of Mumtaz Qadri - the murderer of the Late Governor of Punjab Salman Taseer - the acquittal of a Christian woman named Asia Bibi and the acquittal of a Christian couple, Shagufta Kausar and her husband Shafqat Emmanuel.
Mr Malook is now working, along with myself, towards the acquittal of the full-bright scholar and lecturer Junaid Hafeez, who has been languishing in solitary confinement for the last decade on allegations of blasphemy.
