About the Author: Adrian Comer is an author whose upbringing in small-town England, particularly in Lymington and Southampton, greatly influenced his writing. Born into a family of diverse professions, from policing to owning a café and a grocery shop, Comer's childhood experiences provided him with a rich tapestry of settings and characters. His passion for music, particularly drumming, led him to the local music scene where he eventually became involved in bands such as Agnes Strange and The Mirrors. It was during his time as a musician that Comer discovered his knack for storytelling, leading him to write the Tom and Dick stories and ultimately, The Adventures of Patricia, drawing inspiration from his upbringing and experiences.

About the Book:

A young girl wakes up in the night to hear voices coming from the hallway below her bedroom. She recognises one of the voices as her father's but the other person is not known to her. This leads Patricia into a secret underworld of Smugglers, finding out that her father is one of the ring leaders. After finding a secret door leading to tunnels running from her house to Lymington Quay and across the High Street to the Angel Inn.
