In this conversation I'm diving into the vast world of womanly cycles with Samantha Neal, who lives, breathes and shares the power of coming into greater understanding, and therefore empowerment, around our monthly cycles. We speak in depth about menstruation, the way society has 'told us' to think about it, her first time bleeding and her disempowered perception of it then, to now understanding it's purpose, and the power we have in this time to vision/create/rest/restore. We go into exactly what happens in a woman's body each month as she prepares to ovulate, and then to bleed, and around and around again. We share tips on self-care, food, herbs, rituals and boundaries needed at these times of the month, and how to understand/communicate our needs and honour them.
