Data privacy regulations are changing daily with new laws being introduced across the globe. Noel explores the ethics in AI development, how AI is reshaping business operations and regulatory frameworks, and the top risks associated with AI and privacy, examining how regulators are responding to these challenges.
NoĂ«l is a dedicated and experienced privacy professional who brings a deep understanding of global privacy laws and industry best practices to her role as Chief Assurance Officer. She joined TrustArc in 2015 and is responsible for overseeing and enhancing TrustArcâs robust assurance programs, which are at the forefront of privacy and compliance excellence. Prior to joining TrustArc, NoĂ«l spent 8 years as a practicing attorney in California. NoĂ«l holds a B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, and an LL.M. from the University of Washington, School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in California and Washington State. She holds the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) recognition from the IAPP as well as the following CIPP certifications: CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/A, and CIPM.
