Lindsay Kyte, a talented playwright and actress, and Darrel Cameron, a skilled music therapist and producer with Blue Acres, share a profound love for the arts that forms the bedrock of their relationship. Darrel specializes in working with patients with dementia through music therapy, empowering his clients to take ownership of their creativity. Lindsay has successfully co-written, acted in, and toured her show "Dear Rita," a heartfelt tribute to the life and achievements of celebrated Nova Scotian singer Rita MacNeil. This summer, the show will debut at Neptune Theatre, and the excitement for us included a special treat: trying on Rita's famous "red hat." Together, Lindsay and Darrel’s dedication to their crafts not only enriches their own lives but also brings joy and healing to others.
