Capital Area Michigan Works!, Lansing, MI, but serving Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties. THEME: Carrie discusses the April Michigan Works! Impact Awards. ● Question: What is the Michigan Works! Impact Awards? According to the Michigan Works! Association, the Impact Awards “honor those who have contributed to strengthening Michigan’s economy by actively creating jobs and developing fresh talent in their communities.” This highly publicized event celebrates the economic impact of newly created jobs, transformational training and effective talent pipeline development across the state. . Woodbridge has also received three Going PRO Talent Fund awards since 2015. Recently, a $35,325 award was presented to nine team members to take a leadership development course and two workers to advance their skills with CNC machines through a Mill Essentials course. ● Question: When is this year’s Michigan Works!
