The Law can do nothing to bear the fruit of love in our hearts and lives. It was meant as a verdict against the people who live according to the flesh. They had no love because they refused to listen and obey the God who is Love. But now, we have God who is Spirit, and who is Love, indwelling us and producing in us, His great Love, to seen in our lives in love for Him and for others - and the Law has absolutely no part to play in it whatsoever!
