Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs secured a commitment Arkansas guard Khalif Battle this weekend, who picked the Zags over Villanova and Kansas State. Battle averaged 29.6 points over his final seven games with the Hogs, and his experience coming off the bench makes him a perfect third guard for this program.

Battle will likely play a lot of minutes alongside Nolan Hickman and Ryan Nembhard, shifting Michael Ajayi into a small ball four role and hurting the minutes for Steele Venters and Dusty Stromer. Still, this nine-man rotation is as good as any in college basketball as this team looks to get over the hump and win a national title.
