Established CDMX artist Theus Mago brings back his post-psychedelic dance sounds to Parisian imprint Lumière Noire Records in the form of his ‘La Cabeza’ EP. The title cut ‘La Cabeza’ (feat. Mera De La Rosa) is an engaging dancefloor-focused jam built around driving grooves and gritty analogue musicality. The track orbits a catchy vocal topline with modulating pitch and energy unfolding around it to carve out a quirky peak time roller with a subtle carnivalesque feel to its percussive cadence. ‘Taco House Galáctico’ (feat. fellow Mexico City native JNGLEJ) is next up, firing in more chunky grooves and fat low-end charm.
