- If you want to see change, you do what the rest of us do. Chew on a plan for quite some time, and then pop out a planner or your laptop or set up a meeting. Why? Because we are programmed to think that in order to see change, you have to have a plan. By the way, in general, I agree with this. But today, we are talking about momentum, which in my opinion is the secret weapon for leaders when it comes to change. Momentum defies the norms of change, plans, goals, and projects. Momentum isn’t cheerleading or encouragement. It happens in the middle when what you wanted to happen is actually happening, which makes you want to invest more. Momentum comes from people, not new programs or projects. And when there’s momentum, you will hear stories of people connecting over the mission. Take a listen!
