Dr. Jill M. Baren. In July of 2022, Dr. Baren was appointed the fourteenth president of Lake Forest College. Lake Forest College was founded in 1857 and is home to nearly 1600 students. Last year the Wall Street Journal rated Lake Forest College the top liberal arts college in the Midwest. Dr. Baren is a medical doctor, educator, and researcher, who brings nearly 30 years of academic medicine and higher-education administrative experience to the presidency.
She previously served as Provost and Vice-President of Academic Affairs at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, before coming to Lake Forest College
