In his year 30+ years in public education Mike Hicks has learned many things, but the Holy Spirit has led him to his biggest breakthroughs when its come to reaching students struggling with apathy. Through a series of events in his life, shared in this testimonial episode, Mike compiled a book for teachers entitled "The Roots of Apathy" which shares how to validate many of the incredibly hard struggles our students face as well as making deposits of relational equity in the ones God has put in front of us each day.
