Rocky Michaels is a multi award winning independent singer-songwriter/recording artist. He began playing piano at age 5 and crafted his skills into songwriting throughout high school.
November 2023: Rocky’s song ‘An Uncomfortable Truth’ was adopted as the anthem for an upcoming special book endeavor dedicated to the homeless population around the world; “Unsheltered: Voices from the Street”.
May 2023: Rocky was named as a finalist for 'Male Rising Star of the Year', 'Single of the Year' (Better Man), 'Music Video of the Year' (Best Part of Living) 'Emerging Artist of the Year' and 'Male Songwriter of the Year' by the International Singer Songwriter's Association (https://issasongwriters.com/).
May 2023: Rocky was nominated for 'Song of the Year' Folk/Americana (Better Man) by the Josie Music Awards (https://www.josiemusicawards.com/) with the awards show held at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN.
