We start off with the most famous cryptid of our state and the most well documented cryptid, The Van Meter Monster. We also discuss the Thunderbird, talked about by multiple Native American tribes across the Midwest and Southwest. Have you ever heard of the Davenport Demon? Allegedly, in the 1960’s & 1970’s, reports that a monster was sited near the dark waters on the banks of the Mississippi river in Davenport Iowa. But is it fact or fiction? For the final story, some ultimate high strangeness in Iowa. The Exorcism of Anna Ecklund, was based off of actual exorcisms that were performed in Iowa and the true story is more disturbing than what Hollywood could ever tell us.
