Filecoin is one of the world's biggest cryptocurrencies, a decentralised system which offers a peer-to-peer storage network. Filecoin Green, meanwhile, measures the environmental impacts of Filecoin and strives to drive them downward.
It feels like a very topical discussion in this day and age, with climate change becoming an increasingly threatening fear.
With Ethereum reducing its energy consumption 99.95% after the Merge, there has never been a more apt time to discuss crypto and energy.
