Unified strategies for defeating Ocean Acidification (OA) & CO2 greenhouse gas in the atmosphere with technologies available now.

  1. Direct Air (Carbon) Capture DAC from industrial plants and atmosphere
  2. Synthetic Photosynthesis quoted at least 22.4% efficiency
  3. Cohabitation of calcifying and non-calcifying organisms (photosynthetic rates of seagrass H. wrightii contribute to raise calcifying alga H. cuneata calcification more than two-fold)
  4. Carbon Capture Sodium Bicarbonate released into oceans (hypothetically at night to reduce negative effects of biomass respiration on pH values. Because the pH drops at night, this would be a good time to add the sodium bicarbonate. Additional research is needed and most dumping might be safer deeper off shore where it will be less likely to have unintended chemical reactions)
