Tom Branigan, CEO at Branigan, speaks with Lauren Ruff, Assistant Vice President and Marketing Director with Ixonia Bank, about the importance of businesses having a plan for managing a crisis. A crisis situation can include a domestic incident spilling over into the workplace, a natural disaster, or a data breach among many others. There are different categories of crisis to consider, and part of developing a plan is to identify your company's vulnerabilities. It’s also important to create a "go to" team to manage the situation.
Branigan is a marketing communications group based in Milwaukee. Leading at the helm, Tom has extensive experience in global PR, corporate positioning and reputation management with companies such as DHL, Airborne Express and Palermo’s. Tom's expertise includes corporate and crisis communications, and employee, investor and labor relations. As a university instructor since 2005, he’s also invested in developing the next generation of communications professionals.
Take a listen…there’s lots of interesting nuggets of information to consider!
