Response to SCOTUS Homelessness Decision

Last Friday, the Supreme Court issued its ruling in Grants Pass v. Johnson, which has been called the most important homelessness case in decades. In a 6-3 decision along ideological lines, the court granted cities more authority to arrest and fine people who sleep outside in public places, even if they have nowhere else to go. Angela Hassell, Executive Director of Sacramento Loaves & Fishes and CalMatters Homeless Reporter Marisa Kendall join Insight to discuss what the court’s ruling means for the unhoused community here in Sacramento and across the state.

‘This Is What It Feels Like’ Trans Healthcare

CapRadio’s podcast This Is What It Feels Like is now a bonafide award winner. Hosted by Terra Lopez, This Is What It Feels Like allows listeners to put themselves in the shoes of everyday people at the center of issues that have been politicized.
